2020 GHSA Week 2 Helmet Stickers

Week 2
Class 7A
Nyland Green (Newton HS) - 97 yard kickoff return and 72 yard touchdown reception and part of a defense that held the shutout in the Rams’ first game of the season.
Phil Mafah (Grayson HS) - rushed for 223 yards on just 16 carries for an average of 13.9 yards a carry and two touchdown in Grayson’s rout of McEachern.
Craig Adams Jr. (Pebblebrook HS) - He did everything but sell popcorn at halftime, the sophomore had 5 total touchdowns while leading Pebblebrook to its first win of the season.
Class 6A
Jackson Clouatre (Habersham Central HS) - We aren’t sure if Clouatre can be tackled. He took 21 carries for 305 yards and 3 touchdowns to lead Habersham Central to a win over Apalachee.
Justin Williams (East Paulding HS) - The junior running back found the endzone four times and had over 200 yards of total offense. He is a big reason the Raiders have started the season 2-0.
Maurice Howard (Dalton HS) - Howard found the endzone three times as Dalton rebounded nicely with a 52-7 win. He rushed for 224 yards on 14 carries for a 16 yard average.
Class 5A
D.J. Reid (Northgate HS) - Junior running back did his best Derrick Henry impression taking a huge workload for over 200 yards and a touchdown in the double overtime slugfest win over Locust Grove.
Devonte Ross (Cartersville HS) - The senior wide receiver hauled in double digit receptions, over 100 yards, and 2 TD’s as Cartersville kept West Forsyth at arms length the entire night. Also extending their 60 game regular season win streak.
Eastside Offensive Line - Led a rushing attack that ran the ball for over 400 yards and iced the game in the fourth quarter with the 27-14 Winder-Barrow.
Class 4A
Kobe Jones (LaGrange HS) - In his first year of high school football, the basketball star managed to be on the receiving end of a 61 yard touchdown reception and snatch the game sealing interception in a win over Northside.
Clete Cooper (East Hall HS) - It didn’t look great for East Hall early, but then Cooper threw for over 400 yards and 3 touchdowns in the come from behind win against rival West Hall.
Malaki Starks (Jefferson HS) - The junior took his first start at quarterback to show you why the high level D1 offers are rolling in. Over a hundred yards on the ground and three touchdowns to lead Jefferson in a rout of Central Gwinnett.
Class 3A
Crisp County Cougar Defense (Crisp County HS) - The defense made the most of six turnovers to hold Houston County scoreless as they got a big win three classifications higher than themselves.
Greater Atlanta Christian Spartans Defense (GACS) - It is hard to not pick a defense that has forced 12 turnovers in two games. On Friday night, they forced four including a game sealing interception to secure the 10-3 win over Lovett.
JBen Haynes (White County HS) - The senior quarterback took the Warriors on the road and had the game winning touchdown run. He orchestrated 50 points worth of offense and over 300 yards of total offense in this instant classic victory over Hart County.
Class 2A
Montarious Banks (Bremen HS) - The senior running back found the endzone four times as he ran for over 200 yards to see the Blue Devils get the win over perennial rival Bowdon.
Gunner Stockton (Rabun County HS) - Stockton and Rabun County got the win in the battle of the five star quarterbacks. He ran for 173 yards and threw for another 173 while tallying five total touchdowns.
Richmond Sims (Model HS) - Sims might have had the most exciting play in the state on Friday night returning a fourth quarter punt for the game winning touchdown. Sims’ return gave Model its first victory over Lafayette in 15 years.
Class 1A - Public
Elijah Tiller (Clinch County HS) - Tiller ran for 176 yards on 21 carries while leading the Panthers to blow out last year’s state runner up, Marion County.
Aaron Aune (Social Circle HS) - It always good to see the ball go through the uprights with the game on the line, and that is exactly what Aune did with .02 seconds left to give the Redskins the win over Providence Christian.
Sammy Brown (Commerce HS) - The freshman Brown introduced himself very quickly to the GHSA world with a touchdown run and catch of 70+ yards as Commerce moved to 2-0 on the year.
Class 1A - Private
Josh Dallas (Trinity Christian) - It only took 3 receptions for Dallas to go over the century mark and find the endzone twice. Dallas will look for another big time performance next week at Fellowship Christian.
North Cobb Christian Offensive Line (North Cobb Christian School) - The Eagles offensive line paved the way for 341 rushing yards in the first half alone. They finished the game with 496 yards on the ground and a runaway victory over Hebron Christian.
Cooper Blauser (Wesleyan) - Blauser did just about everything, he racked up 5 receptions for 73 yards and a touchdown. He still managed to run for another touchdown and register an interception on defense.
