Georgia Preps Week 5 Players of the Week

Class 7A 

Keith Adams Jr. (Cherokee) - Adams Jr. put his team on his back as he rushed for 154 yards and 2 touchdowns. It was easy to see coming out of halftime that Cherokee was going as far as Adams Jr. would take them, and he took them to ending Cartersville’s 62 regular season game win streak and a 5-0 start!

Class 6A

Amehre Morrison (River Ridge) - Morrison had himself a night, starting off the first drive with a 73 yard touchdown run, and ending the game with 318 yards on the ground. Morrison would find the endzone four times total as the Knights rolled to a big win over Chattahoochee!

Class 5A

Jake Hall (Ola) - Hall had a big night for Ola as they stayed undefeated on the year and took down Dutchtown. Hall had two rushing touchdowns, the second of which sealed the 20-6 victory with less than 2 minutes left in the game!

Class 4A

Jaylan Brown (LaGrange) - LaGrange is riding a 3 game winning streak and Brown is a huge reason why. On Friday, and in one half Brown threw for 3 touchdowns, and ran for two more as the Grangers won 48-14! 

Class 3A

Jake Johnson (Oconee County) - The Warriors came away with a big win 44-14 visiting Thomasville on Friday. The junior wideout made the most of his opportunities catching 5 passes for 154 yards, and finding the end zone three times!

Class 2A

Jay Ealey (Early County) - Looking to stay undefeated against Westover and Ealey made sure it would come to that fruition. Leading a defense to making crucial stops, he also scored 2 of the 3 offensive touchdowns in the Bobcats 21-20 win! 

Class 1A Public

Bo Rhudy (Gordon Lee) - Gordon Lee’s rushing attack is a force to be reckoned with. Rhudy is the bruising back that many defenders don’t want to get in the way of. He used that to cash in for two touchdowns on Friday en route to a 33-7 win! 

Class 1A Private

Murphy Reeves (Fellowship Christian) The Paladins made a statement with a 27-0 victory in the ranked matchup versus North Cobb Christian. Fellowship’s stout rushing attack is led by Reeves who rushed for 10ypc. with 170 yards on 17 carries, and a score in the win!
