Opportunities abound for Central Gwinnett as they enter the 2022 season. A fresh start awaits as the Black Knights new coach Larry Harold enters his first season. The Black Knights only return 6 starters from a team that went 1-9, but the early season sets up for some competitive matchups with programs also looking to establish consistent success. The new look Class 7A, Region 8 will also provide opportunities as it has two defending state champions in Buford and Collins Hill.
