Team Preview: Collins Hill Eagles
The Eagles look to keep the momentum going after wining the state championship and going undefeated in 2021. Lenny Gregory has built Collins Hill into one of 7A’s most respected programs across the state. Their region will become even more competitive as Buford and Dacula join from 6A. Collins Hill still has some big time recruits and experienced players returning led by Ethan Davis and Dion Crawford. Younger players will need to step up and take advantage of their opportunities to see Collins Hill continue this impressive run from the past few years!

Season Outlook & Game of the Year
The Eagles are your defending class 7A state champions after going an undefeated 15-0 in 2021. What’s more impressive is that they won every game they played by double digits. Gone is starting Quarterback Sam Horn and wide receiver/defensive bak Travis Hunter Jr. Opportunity abounds for the younger players to step in and produce at the level this program has come accustomed to under Gregory’s leadership. The schedule will once again be challenging as they play in the new Class 7A, Region 8. Buford, Dacula join Mill Creek as known commodities in this region. We will put their game on 9/30 at Buford to be the game of the year. The Eagles will have had time to grow and gel together as a team, a win over one of the state’s most prestigious programs will prove the Eagles have the staying power to be among the elites.
