Week 2 Helmet Stickers Announced

Check out the standout performers from Week 2 games all across the state of Georgia. Vote in the polls below for one player to be named the Player of the Week for their classification. Voting closes every Tuesday at 11:59PM EST.

Class 7A Helmet Stickers

James Tyre - Lambert
Tyre kept the Lambert offense rolling again this week as the Longhorns won 49-3 over Dawson County. He threw for 329 yard and 4 TD’s as he broke the school record for both categories!

Hunter Shepard - Peachtree Ridge
Shepard has the Lions off to a hot 2-0 start. After putting up 60 points a week ago he once again led Peachtree Ridge to a big win. Close to 250 pass yards and 2 TD’s helped the Lions win 23-3 over Apalachee!

Christian Langford - East Coweta
The sophomore quarterback led the Indians to their first win of the season by exploding for 35 second half points. He used his arms and legs for 2 TD’s and over 300 yards of total offense in the 38-10 win over rival Newnan!

Class 6A Helmet Stickers

Xavier Mahoney - Etowah
Mahoney came up big for the Eagles when they needed him most. He put them on the scoreboard to start the second half with a 88 yard KO return for a touchdown. He then tied up the game with 3:54 remaining before Etowah outlasted Cherokee in 2OT for a 31-30 win!

Damare Franklin - Veterans
The sure handed Franklin made a big difference in the Warhawk offense in Week 2. He helped the offense score 49 points with close to 200 receiving yards and 3 total touchdowns in the 49-31 win over Griffin!

Gainesville Defense
The Red Elephant defense came up with 2 big scores. The first blocking a field goal and returning it 76 yards for a touchdown. And the second a pick six by Cash O’Callaghan to seal the 30-7 win over Mountain View!

Class 5A Helmet Stickers

Tyreeck Hall - Winder Barrow
For the second week in a row Hall has come up with a big performance for the Doggs. Hall produces as both RB/DB for Winder-Barrow and this time he found the end zone FIVE times in a 48-0 rout of ML King!

Caden Williams - Calhoun
After a tough loss to Blessed Trinity a week ago, Calhoun had a come from behind win over Gardendale (AL). Williams used his physical running style to find the end zone twice including the go-ahead score for a 31-30 win!

Jack Stanton - GAC
Stanton and the Spartans found themselves in a fight on Friday night against Lovett. Stanton was consistent as he threw for 335 yards and 3 TD’s, but none bigger than the go-ahead score in the final minute of the game!

Class 4A Helmet Stickers

Zeke Nisharamna - Druid Hills
A fourth quarter comeback to end a 19 game losing streak? Nisharamna was the key to this comeback as he scored the game winning TD and then had the game sealing interception for the 21-20 win over McNair!

Cedartown Offensive Line
In a bigtime match up against Callaway, the Dawgs offensive line paved the way for success. 6 out of the 7 touchdowns scored on the night were rushing and all by a different runner in the 47-7 win! 

Taeo Todd - Troup County
Todd and the Tiger offense were in mid-season form as they scored seven touchdowns on the night. Todd had a hand in each of them as he threw for two and ran for five more to give Troup County a 49-21 win over Hardaway!

Class 3A Helmet Stickers

Whit Weeks - Oconee County
Weeks did everything but sell popcorn at halftime! 94 rushing yards and 2 TD’s, 13 tackles, 3 TFL’s, 1 sack and a KO return for a touchdown to give the Warriors a 33-9 win over Clarke Central!

Zo Smalls - Savannah Christian
Smalls made sure that the Raiders would go home the victors on Friday and most of his work was done in the first half. In just five carries, he had 136 rushing yards and four touchdowns in the 69-6 win over Islands!

Chris Roper - Adairsville
Adairsville and Cherokee Bluff played an instant classic on Friday night. The Tigers gutted out a 51-50 win in overtime where Roper scored his 3rd touchdown of the night and the game winning 2-pt conversion!

Class 2A Helmet Stickers

Xavian Green - Redan
Green’s versatility was on full display Friday night as he scored a touchdown 4 different ways. Touchdowns by way of passing, Rushing, Receiving, and on a punt return helped lead Redan to a 34-6 win over Stone Mountain!

Seth Griffin - North Murray
North Murray edged Pickens in a shootout and Seth Griffin was a big reason why. Griffin threw for over 400 yards and 3 TD’s. If that wasn’t enough…he rushed for over 200 yards and 4 TD’s to given the Mountaineers a 54-40 win!

Marquis Lattner - Rutland
Lattner and Rutland moved to 2-0 as they beat Hawkinsville 35-29! Lattner threw four touchdown passes and 266 yards including the game winner in the 4th quarter go give the Hurricanes win #2!

Class 1A Helmet Stickers

Jaden Gibson - Rabun County
Great players find a way to make an impact no matter what. One of the state’s most proven receivers came up big in a defensive slugfest as he picked off Stephen’s County final attempt to preserve the 14-7 win for the Wildcats!

Eli Mullis - Bleckley County
Mullis and the Purple Royals offense put up huge numbers in a big road win over Wilcox County. The senior quarterback had two touchdown passes threw the air and another rushing in the 46-14 win!

Brooks County Defense
Playing against 4A competition? Offense isn’t clicking like normal? No worries, five touchdowns scored by the Trojans defense and special teams to give them the 39-25 win over Wayne County!
