Noteworthy: 

The Wolves are making their 2nd straight semi-final appearance as the won in this round a year ago against Fellowship Christian to advance to the state finals. Prince Avenue is back in the semi-finals after a one year hiatus. The Wolverines took down three-time defending state champion, Eagles Landing Christian by the score of 38-0 last week. Both teams had double a large portion of their starters selected to the All-Region teams these past few weeks. These two teams faced off earlier in the season, in  a game also played at Wesleyan, after a close start Prince Avenue pulled away in route to a 52-26 win!

Noteworthy: 

Calvary Day is the only remaining #2 seed left in Class 1A Private. This is their first trip back to the semi-finals since 2014 and they are led by a strong defense and freshman QB Merklinger. He is closing in on throwing for over 2,000 yards this season. Trinity Christian seems to be clicking on all cylinders as they head into this one. They have 5 different players who have had multiple touchdown games this season. The Lions also make their first semi-final appearance since joining the GHSA 3 years ago.
