Season Outlook:
Region 8 in Class 7A features 2 defending state champions (Buford and Collins Hill) , Semi-finalist (Dacula) and a Quarterfinalist . Non-region schedule includes all playoff teams and another state champion in Cedar Grove.
Game of the Year:
As mentioned above the region schedule is no joke, and the Hawks have buffed up their non-region schedule in addition to that. Opening the season in the Benz against Walton will offer this team to show the reason for all of the off-season hype they are receiving. As tough as this schedule is, we wouldn’t be shocked to see double digit wins for this Hawks team. For the game of the year, we look to 10/21 vs Collins Hill. The Eagles have had Mill Creek’s number the past, but look for the Mill Creek community to create an incredible atmosphere for this big game in late October!
