Class 6A -7A Helmet Stickers

Jordan McDonald - Milton - Running Back - @Jordan1Mcdonald
The senior running back had himself a nice weekend. On Friday he all but helped Milton move a win away from another region championship by rushing for 132 yards and 3 touchdowns on just 10 carries. In the win over Roswell, he also chipped in with some more scoring by throwing a touchdown pass and catching another. To cap it all off, he announced his long awaited commitment to UCF on Saturday!

Jevell Ferguson - Lee County - Wide Receiver - @JevellKimble
Lee County is no stranger to region championships as they clinched a 5th in a row on Friday night. The senior wide receiver is no stranger to the Trojans success, and he grabbed six catches for 110 yards and a touchdown in the 41-7 win over Northside. Lee County has beaten all of its region opponents by 20+ points.

Avery Smith - Riverwood - Quarterback - @AverySmith2022
Big time players make big time plays in big time games. Riverwood ended Cambridge’s perfect season as they won 40-33 to create a three way tie in the Class 6A-Region 7 standings. Smith threw for 285 yards on 13 of 22 passing, while chipping in a measly five touchdown passes on the night!

Class 4A-5A Helmet Stickers

Ayden Smith - Lithia Springs - Wide Receiver - @AyedatkidAyden
The Lions kept their playoff hopes alive on Friday night with a 35-9 win over Chapel Hill. Smith came up with some big plays but none bigger than his 50+ yard touchdown reception. He finished the night with 4 catches for 109 yards and the touchdown.

Jake Parker - Cartersville - Quarterback - @JakeParkerQB
Parker has had this offense rolling for weeks now, and Friday was no different in the 49-7 win over Woodland. Parker finished his night by halftime while throwing for three touchdowns. The win ensures that the Purple Hurricanes will show up to next Friday’s matchup with Calhoun undefeated.

Dominic Elder Jr. - North Oconee - Running Back - @DominicElderJr
Every team needs a closer and North Oconee has theirs in Dominic Elder Jr. The junior running back ran for three touchdowns in the 42-7 win over Cedar Shoals. His final two came in the 4th quarter to help the Titans solidify the win. They will now head into a winner take all region showdown with Jefferson.

Class 2A-3A Helmet Stickers

Duke Watson - Mary Persons - Running Back - @Duke2_smooth
Mary Person’s needed a win on Friday night to move one step closer to clinching a playoff spot and Mr. Watson put the team on his back. The sophomore running back carried the ball 26 times for 162 yards and two touchdowns in the 32-24 win over Upson-Lee.

Selation Straughter Jr. - Monroe Area - Quarterback - @TWOSTRAUGHTER
Beating a team that hasn’t lost a regular season game in over two years requires a special performance. Straughter Jr. provided just that in the 17-14 slugfest win over Oconee County. The signal caller was incredibly efficient completing 9-11 passes for 115 yards and a touchdown. He also churned our 100+ yards rushing on 19 carries!

Jayquan Smith - Cherokee Bluff - Running Back - @JayquanSmith22
Smith and the Bears continue their quest for an undefeated season as the senior running back helped run to a 21-14 win over Dawson County. Smith finished with 26 carries, 208 yards, and two rushing touchdowns in the big win. If the Bears can get past North Hall next week, it will set up a season ending game with White County, the one team to defeat Cherokee Bluff in 2020.

Seth Reece - Fannin County - Quarterback - @sethreece3
Typically it would be a tough night for a QB if he only threw three passes. Well not for Reece, the quarterback carried the ball 19 times for 162 yards while scoring three touchdowns. Reece has proved all season he can get the job done with his arms and legs as the Rebels find themselves 7-0 with two games left.

Class 1A Public/Private Helmet Stickers

Tre Hawkins - Athens Academy - Running Back - @thawkins_4
The junior running back has plenty of experience in the Spartans backfield. And the Spartans have plenty of experience winning with Hawkins in the backfield. Friday night was more of the same as Hawkins rushed for two big touchdowns against rival Athens Christian. He had almost 100 yards on those runs alone going for 80 yards and 17 yards in the 30-14 win.

Jett Miller - Wesleyan - Quarterback - @JettMiller16
Wesleyan fell behind early, but not for long as Jett Miller led the Wolves to their 4th straight double digit win. Wesleyan defeated Providence 69-19 and Miller completed 17 of 23 passes for over 300 yards and five touchdowns. The win keeps Wesleyan well alive for a chance to win another region championship with games against Holy Innocents and Mt. Vernon remaining.

Jakelvis Whitley - Johnson County - Running Back- @JookWhitley
Johnson County had dropped two straight region games heading into Friday night’s game. Whitley was not going to let the Trojans lose as he carried the ball 19 times for over 225 yards and four touchdowns in the 42-35 win over perennial power Dublin. With two games left, Whitley has Johnson County looking to close in on a playoff berth.
