Week 11 Helmet Stickers Announced

Class 7A

Sam Horn (Collins Hill) - This is long overdue for Horn as he has had the Eagles offense unstoppable for mosst of this season. On Friday, he threw for over 330 yards passing and three touchdowns as Collins Hill won the region championship 28-17 over Mill Creek!

Bryson Moss (Newnan) - Moss is no stranger to the end zone this season. He led the Cougars on Friday night to a 34-7 win over Campbell as he rushed for 121 yards and four touchdowns!

 Malachi Singleton (North Cobb) - Singleton and the Warriors wrapped up the region championship on Friday night. Singleton scored all four touchdowns and had over 100 yards both passing and rushing in the 28-26 win over Marietta!

 Class 6A

Caleb McDowell (Lee County) - What a performance by McDowell and the Trojans to take down Valdosta 41-7. McDowell carried the ball just ten times for 111 yards and two touchdowns as Lee County wrapped up a big time win and region championship! 

Troy Glenn (Allatoona) - The Allatoona offense racked up points and quickly on Friday night and Glenn had two big time touchdown receptions! Glenn and and Allatoona are one win away from finishing off an undefeated 2020 campaign! 

Zina Mulbah (Westlake) - Mulbah and the Lions put on an incredible performance after the heartbreaking loss of their principal earlier in the week. Mulbah found the endzone three times in a 51-0 rout of a quality Lovejoy team!

Class 5A

Carlos Del Rio (Cartersville) - In a top 10 showdown versus Calhoun, Del Rio delivered big in the fourth quarter as Cartersville pulled away for the win. Del Rio threw for two touchdowns and ran in for another!

Damari Alston (Woodward Academy) Alston has already rushed for over 1,000 yards on the year, on Friday he rushed for three touchdowns and over 150 yards as the Ware Eagles ran away with a 28-7 win over Tri-Cities!

Quamari Williams (Griffin) - Williams is back for a 2nd time as he came up big for Griffin in securing home field advantage for round one of the playoffs. He scored the game’s first touchdown and then threw the game winning touchdown pass with less than a minute remaining! 

Class 4A

Jayden Johnson (Cedartown) - Johnson proved his big play ability as he caught not one but two touchdown passes for 60+ yards. He ended the night with over 180 yards receiving as the Bulldogs wrapped up the region championship in the 34-7 win!

Jaiden Credle (Carver) - Credle started the game with a touchdown and ended the game with a touchdown. After Hardway rallied within a touchdown from a 28 pt deficit, Credle put the dagger in with an 80 yard touchdown run late in the fourth quarter!

Derwin Burgess Jr. (Riverdale) The Raiders continue to show off their talent as Burgess had himself quite the night last Thursday. He scored four total touchdowns, 2 rushing and 2 receiving, and had an interception on defense in the 55-0 win!

Class 3A

Deymon Fleming (GACS) - Fleming is back for the 2nd time as he and GAC got a big win over Carver to give them the region championship. Fleming threw for four touchdowns and ran in for another score in the 35-20 win! 

Connor Crunkleton (Adairsville) - Crunkleton directed the Tigers offense to 42 points on the night as they won a shootout versus North Murray to gain home field advantage in the first round of the playoffs. Crunkleton threw for two touchdowns, one on a fake field goal!

Mason Byron (Monroe Area) - The Hurricanes took care of business at home and Byron was a big reason why. He scored three total touchdowns on the night in the 28-10 win over Franklin County. One of his TD’s was a pick six!

Class 2A

Ronnie Baker (Thomasville) - 68 total points and the night, and Baker threw for six touchdowns in the 68-6 win over Berrien! What makes this even more impressive is that only two of Baker’s completions did not go for touchdowns! 

Aquavious Hunter (Jefferson Co) - Hunter and the Warriors offense was rolling in the 42-20 win over Westside to clinch the region championship. Hunter does just about everything, and he rushed for over 150 yards, and 3 touchdowns!

Charlie Dixon (Callaway) - What to make of Region 5? We don’t know! But Dixon did his best to put the Cavs in the driver seat as he rushed for over 100 yards and scored three touchdowns in the 41-20 win over Temple!

Class 1A Public

Trey Huff (Commerce) - Starting QB as a sophomore in a top 10 ranked matchup for the region championship? No problem! Huff scored three of Commerce’s four TD’s as they controlled the game in the 28-17 win over Washington-Wilkes!

Cade Peterson (Gordon Lee) - Peterson has become a regular on our list, and on Friday night he made the most of his touches. 8 carries for 194 yards and 2 touchdowns gives him a yards per carry average of over 20+ yards! 

Brandon Denmark (Montgomery County) - The Eagles are surging at the right time, and Denmark is a big reason why! He rushed for three touchdowns on Friday night, had close to 50 yards receiving as Montgomery County won 40-8!

Class 1A Private

Phillip Massengale (ELCA) - Massengale and the Chargers have once again locked up their region. On Friday, he threw for two touchdowns, and ran for two touchdowns with 200 yards of total offense in a 34-7 win!

Griffin Caldwell (Wesleyan) - Caldwell is back for the 2nd time this season, this time he rushed for 163 yards on 20 carries. But his biggest carry was a 70 yard touchdown run late in the 4th quarter to give the Wolves a 20-13 win over Holy Innocents!

Nick Speros (Mount Pisgah) - Speros was the biggest benefactor of a unstoppable passing game on Friday night. He hauled in 11 catches for over 200 yards, and two touchdowns in the 38-14 win over King’s Ridge!
