Week 3 Game of the Week Previews

Class 7A Parkview (1-0) @ North Gwinnett (2-0)

They could probably play this one on Saturday with this much D1 talent on the field. Cody Brown and Parkview try to establish the run against Barrett Carter and the stout North Gwinnett defense.

Class 6A Alexander (2-0) @ Cartersville (2-0)

It is starting to feel like fall when there is big time football! Alexander is 2-0 and has been dominant so far this season; Cartersville hasn't lost in the regular season in the last 60 games. 

Class 5A Starr’s Mill (1-1) @ Union Grove (2-0)

Starr’s Mill has had a strong start to the season with its lone loss coming by 1 pt to East Coweta. Union Grove has yet to score under 40pts in both of their wins. Looking forward to a great matchup!

Class 4A Marist (1-0) @ Woodward Academy (0-1)

Woodward is looking to bounce back from a season opening loss vs ELCA; Marist is looking to continue its dominance on the offensive and defensive side of the football after a 43-0 win vs. HIES. 

Class 3A Clarke Central (1-0) @ Oconee County (2-0)

It's almost like Clarke County and Oconee County set up a tournament and this is the championship. Bragging rights around Athens are on the line when these two undefeated teams face off!

Class 2A Jefferson (1-0) @ Rabun County (2-0)

The Dragons let it rip last week in their opener, a 61-7 win over Cen. Gwinnett. However, it's been over a year since the Wildcats have lost at home. Scoreboard will be lit up in this one!

Class 1A Public Trion (0-1) at Model (1-1)

Trion is coming off a 10 round fight with Coosa and Model's last minute fireworks gave them the win over Lafayette. We are expecting another one down to the wire when these two teams meet in Rome!

Class 1A Private Trinity Chrisitan (1-1) at Fellowship Christian (2- 0)

The Lions get another chance to establish themselves as an elite program in GHSA with a win on the road. FCS is looking to make it back to back undefeated regular seasons!
