Week 7 Helmet Stickers Announced

Check out the standout performers from Week 7 games all across the state of Georgia. Vote in the polls below for one player to be named the Player of the Week for their classification. Voting closes every Tuesday at 11:59PM EST.

Class 7A Helmet Stickers

Jeremy Hecklinski - Walton
Hecklinski and the Raider offense continue to put up big numbers each week. This time they needed it as they found themselves in a shootout with North Paulding. The junior QB threw for 409 yards and six touchdowns in the 51-49 win!

Julian Walters - North Gwinnett
Walters and the Bulldogs put up plenty of points in their homecoming win over Meadowcreek. The junior RB carried the rock 27 times for 200+ yards and 4 touchdowns in the 67-41 win! 

Joe Taylor - Grayson
Taylor and the Rams gutted out a win over region foe Newton as they turned a 3-0 halftime lead into a 26-0 win. The senior RB ran for over 160 yards and a touchdown to make sure the Rams started off 1-0 in region play!

Class 6A Helmet Stickers

Terrance Love - Langston Hughes
Langston Hughes is on a mission this season and the offense is putting up points each week. Senior receiver Terrance Love consistently comes up with explosive plays and on Friday night found himself on the receiving end of two long touchdown passes in the 40-7 win over Alexander! 

Ousmane Kromah - Lee County
One of the state’s most consistent programs has a breakout star in Kromah. The sophomore running back has a knack for finding the end zone as he rushed for 275 yards and 5 touchdowns in the 50-21 win over Houston County! 

Jack Euart - Marist
Looking for the definition of efficiency? The sophomore QB was 7 for 9 passing and threw for 150 yards. What’s more impressive is that over half of his passes went for TD’s as he threw for 4 on the night in the 42-3 win over Dunwoody!

Class 5A Helmet Stickers

Caden Williams - Calhoun
Williams is back on our list and for good reasons. 36 of them!! That’s how many carries he had in the big win over Cartersville. The junior RBD rushed for close to 175 yards and three touchdowns in the 50-48 triple overtime win! 

Preston Clemmer - Cambridge
Clemmer is in his first year as the starting QB for the Bears, but you wouldn’t know it from his production. On Friday he led the Bears to a big win over GACS as he was 8-11 for 182 yards and three touchdowns in the 42-13 win! 

Chase Reese - Warner Robins
Reese and the Demons needed a big region win and he delivered a big performance in the 38-0 win over Ola. Reese was in complete control as he threw for 3 touchdowns including 2 before halftime!

Class 4A Helmet Stickers

Max Wilson - North Oconee
It is a good day when you’re the starting QB and your offense puts up 70 points. It was a good day for Wilson and the Titans as he rushed for 3 touchdowns and well over 100 yards. 2 of the 3 TD’s were from more than 50 yards out!

Tyler Cheatwood - Heritage 
Cheatwood put his diversity on full display last Friday. The senior took a kick off 70 yards for a touchdown, hauled in a 22 yard reception, and then returned an interception for 102 yards to help Heritage stay undefeated and beat Southeast Whitfield 55-12.

Braylon Robinson - Cairo
Robinson showed off his versatility as he used both his arms and legs to lead the Syrupmakers to a 34-0 win. He threw for a touchdown and ran for another to move to 1-0 in region play!

Class 3A Helmet Stickers

Elliot Colson- Cedar Grove
Colson and Cedar Grove to a trip to the nation’s capitol this past week, and came out with a bigtime victory over St. Johns, D.C., who has recently received multiple national rankings. Colson stood out above everyone on the field, totaling four touchdowns, two in the air, and two coming on the ground! 

Gavin Hall- Hebron Christian
It seems like every week Hall is turning in a performance worthy of a helmet sticker, but this week it’s hard not to give credit where credit is due. Gavin Hall went off, leading his team to a 35-28 victory over Oconee County. Hall, for the night, passed for 88 yards and 1 79-yard touchdown, and rushed for 227 yards, three touchdowns all on 28 attempts! 

Kam Davis- Doughtery
Doughtery is 6-0 this season, and Kam Davis helped them achieve that feat with a great outing against Crisp County last week. In the 25-9 win, Davis rushed for 182 yards and two touchdowns, his production coming on 24 carries. Kam Davis was a workhorse for his team, ultimately leading them to the victory!

Class 2A Helmet Stickers

Jontavis Curry- Thomson
Thomson handled business in convincing fashion against Josey, winning 54-0, and leading 48-0 at the break. Jontavis Curry made the most of some light work in the contest. Carrying the ball 6 times, Curry rushed for 86 yards, and three touchdowns to help his team get the win! 

Quay Whitfield- Callaway
Leading his team to a 33-12 victory over Columbia, Quay Whitfield had a stellar performance. Whitfield carried the ball 26 times for 200 yards, and four touchdowns. He was unstoppable last week, leading to this helmet sticker! 

Dennis Sims- Rockmart
Turnovers and special teams typically influence a game more than the other facets, and Dennis Sims for Rockmart made the most in both of those areas in a 48-14 victory over Model. Sims scored two touchdowns for the Yellow Jackets in the contest, one coming on a scoop and score after a fumble, and the other coming on a punt return. Dennis Sims put together a complete performance for Rockmart!

Class 1A Helmet Stickers

Aaron Philo- Prince Avenue Christian
Leading his team to a, 47-14, Homecoming win against Mary Persons last week, Philo had a solid game. Philo passed 17-22 for 227 yards, and four touchdowns on the night. 

Caleb LaVallee- Whitefield Academy
Caleb LaVallee has had a great season thus far, and his skills were on full display in the Wolfpack’s 24-7 win against Brookstone. LaVallee forced three turnovers in the contest, intercepting two passes, taking one to the house for a touchdown, and he also forced a fumble. 

Lorenzo Clayton- Dooly County
Dooly County dominated last week, defeating Wheeler County 47-0. Lorenzo Clayton deserves big time props for his performance in the win. Clayton ran the ball 13 times, for 278 yards and found the endzone four times on the night!
